”Our young people are locked out of homeownership and are renting forever from investor-landlords, not building wealth with the financial discipline of investing in where they live, and always worried about the dreaded knock on the door. While at Plaza I observed this disturbing trend in the condo industry and, having a unique combination of capabilities in technology, business founding & scaling and real estate development, I decided to act.”
A graduate of the University of Waterloo with a degree in Physics, Rob worked as a mathematical engineer at Canadian Astronautics and Nortel. In the 90’s he led e-Cruiter.com as COO which was one the first SaaS company to go public on the NASDAQ. Since then, he has invested in and advised start-ups as an angel and notably co-founded Plaza Ventures into a Top 5 private VC in Canada as ranked by PwC.
